What were you doing before training?
What inspired you to be Nail Technician?
I wanted to become a nail tech as I had fallen out of love with my previous job. I wanted something more creative and wanted to start enjoying what I was doing. I’ve always been interested in doing nails so I just took the jump and did the nail course, which was the best thing I ever did!
What was holding you back from training?
Just the fear of it not going well or maybe not succeeding. I was also scared of what people would think of me leaving my previous job to go and do nails, but as I said, best decision I ever made.
Why did you chose to train with By Jessica Morris?
I had been following Jessica for a while and absolutely loved her work! I looked into a few different courses and hers really stood out to me as she seems so passionate about her job! The course also looked really well put together!
What was training like for you?
My online training experience was amazing! At the time I was working full time so couldn’t attend an in person course, so online worked really well for me. I was able to do the course whenever I wanted and fit it around my schedule. If I ever needed anything I was always able to message Jessica and she would always reply promptly. She really does want the best for her students and will support you no matter what. I would definitely recommend online training, it’s so convenient if you have a busy life or don’t have the time to attend a course. You have lifetime access to the course and have the support of Jessica there if you need it.
Where you are now?
I’m now doing nails full time! I left my previous job as soon as I qualified which was a big risk, but I really wanted to invest my time into something I loved and it’s been the best decision. I have my diary open 5 days a week and have been starting to get really busy and booked. I have my own business and I’m able to work for myself, which I absolutely love!
What have you achieved or are most proud of since qualifying?
I have achieved so much! I’m now fully qualified in builder gel & gel. I’m constantly learning different things every day. I’m proud of myself for putting myself out there even though it was such a scary decision!
What are your Plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to build up my business. I want to become completely fully booked, and I would also love in the future to get a summer house in my garden where I have my own private space for me and my clients!

I trained with Jessica back in August for gel polish and builder gel and it was the best decision I have ever made! The kit was perfect and had everything I needed to start out. Jessica is so so lovely and the way she teaches the course is perfect! The demonstrations really help with understanding the process. I honestly can’t thank Jess enough as just 5 months later, I am a full time self employed nail tech working in a busy recognised beauty salon!

I was already previously trained by someone else and came to Jess for a bit more knowledge and to help get more confident and quicker in my work. Jess is lovely and so full of knowledge. Helped me pick up my speed with doing infills and taught me tips and tricks I wasn’t taught in my original training. Definitely worth doing as an extra bit of training to get your confidence up 💖

Training with Jess was by far the best decision I made and has set me up in such a good stead for my nail career. I chose the ultimate one day course and although it was a little more money, I got her undivided time and attention to allow me to really develop and learn everything that I needed to. No question was too big or too small for Jess. She made me feel so welcome and at ease and I left feeling ready to start 🫶🏻 Jess provided me with absolutely everything I needed in my kit, including a helpful guide which I still look back at now if I’m stuck! I was put into the graduates whastapp group and am able to ask Jess and the girls for any tips, tricks and advice whenever I need it. I couldn’t recommend Jess and her courses enough!
